Listening to The Go! Team. Should be in the shower. Should be a lot of places other than here. This is a joke, a classic stand-up routine. I won't tell you who the punchline is.

oh hello internet

I told myself I would update this every day...failure numero uno. It has been 15 days since my last cigarette. I have gained probably 10lbs (GROSS) and I continue to wake up every night and sleep eat. I know this will get better though. I joined planet fitness last week.
I blame part of my weight gain on Isa Chandra and her Vegan chocolate chip cookies. SO TASTY, and SO EASY to make. I'll teach you! My room mates love me, we make them all the time. Actually I just made some. I however change up the measurements just a little bit. KEEP IN MIND...just because these cookies are Vegan does not mean they are healthy. I use TONS of sugar. Cane sugar...but still sugar.

INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 cup earth balance at room temperature
1 1/4 cup cane sugar
1.5 tablespoon blackstrap molasses
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (I use Tropical Source from Harvest Co-op)

Preheat your oven to 350.
Cream together the "butter" and cane sugar until fluffy. Add molasses, vanilla, flour, baking soda, salt, mix together well. Fold in chocolate chips.
Make ping pong sized balls with the mix and rip in half. Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart from each other with the flat part facing up. Bake about 10 minutes and let cool 5.

Now off to the store with Carissa to get toilet paper and water. I'm thirsty from all that sugar.

We only answer forgotten questions. Yet you still ask. Our brain is now a heart, a fifth brain, yet still you ask us questions. We whispered the word "wait" into your inner ear...and still you twiddle and fiddle about in your seat.

Our lips are dry
our eyes are tired
we are enlighted
so
just
wait.

Sleep deprived. a photo adventure with Alex.

Earlier I spent the night with Tyler and thirty of his family members who I kind of adore.

random thought:
why do people love bubbles so much? Whenever someone sees a few bubble in the air a immediate smile can be found on there face. Why is this?

I stumbled upon a website today called meemix. It is a lot like pandora radio but way more visually appealing, and has a bigger focus on the social network part than pandora does. Meemix also gives you the feature of searching by the track name rather than just the artist.

The only downside to meemix I have found is the actual music taste of the people who use the site...sucks. I think the most played artist is my chemical romance and in second place comes panic! at the disco. booooooo.

so please join meemix and make it a better place! you can find me under the name owlknees.

I have decided I am going to make an effort to update this blog everyday.

Today is my second day off caffeine, and the two days before that I only had one coffee before four o'clock. My head has been pounding and I have been in a constant state of blargh. This whole conquest began when Tyler started his new job, which he has to wake up at 5:30am for...which means he goes to bed around 8pm. I am usually in bed by 3 or 4am and awake no later than 1 or 2pm (I work nights!). It is not a whole lot of fun to get in bed next to your lover when he has already been in bed for 7 hours. So I thought maybe cutting out the caffeine would help getting me to bed earlier.

(p.s) the photo above is me on my bike.
